Yeah, ABG semantics can get sticky. But the 755 was also sold for Hi-Fi, the 403 wasn't. To me, if you want to go down the line of logic, it only replaced it in SOME apps. Substitute IMHO is a better word. I think you are starting to feel like me, we've talked this to death...the 403 is a good cheap speaker. That statement doesn't stand IMHO without the "cheap" qualifier.
